Birth.

Prior to becoming a Doula I had been supporting friends and family through their pregnancies. Since becoming a Doula I have supported many women through their labour and it has been a joyous journey.

Hospitals where I have supported ladies are Newham General Plaistow,The Royal free Hampstead,Whipps Cross Leytonstone, St Johns in Chelmford, Homerton in Hackney and Queen's in Romford.

The areas that I cover are Barking, Ilford, Stratford, Forest Gate, Upton Park, Plaistow, Hackney, Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham (Essex), Upminster, Woodford Green, Dagenham, Seven Kings, Goodmayes, Leytonstone, Beckton

There will be no charge for the initial meeting.

This meeting will be for us to get to know each other.

* I will be on call 24 hours a day two weeks prior to your due date and two weeks after.

*I will be responsible only for you and will give you undivided attention.

*I will give emotional support, including reassurance, encouragement, and honest praise

* Unlimited telephone calls, texts and emails to answer any questions you may have or for a reassuring chat

* As your birth Doula I will visit you three times. Twice in the antenatal period and once in the postnatal period.

*Together we will go through all of your requirements including your birth plan and get to know each other more.

Once you call me I will come to you when you need me. I will remain with you and your partner until you are ready for me to leave.
While in labour I will help you listen to your body and to eliminate all distractions so that you are able to labour the way your body wants you to.
I will leave once you and your partner are settled with your new baby

There will be one postnatal visit where I can answer any questions you may have about your labour and to get feedback on how you thought things went. As well to admire your new little arrival. If any other visits are required they can be arranged.

Price:

£480 plus expenses (parking fees etc)

Mileage 50 pence per mile

All births are by contract. Signing the contract means that you have read and agree with my terms and conditions.

A non-refundable £80 deposit is required to book the on call time period and balance to be paid before the On call period begins.
